Matt & Sarah | Sunnybrook Ballroom

Since winter decided to show its face again after taking February off, I thought I'd take the opportunity to do a little catching up on blogging!

Sarah and Matt's wedding was such a perfect November day.  We had an insanely busy fall full of photos and other commitments and this day was such a breath of fresh air as well as a great way to end the season.  First off, the details of this wedding were really fun -- I loved the way Sarah was able to incorporate that bold red in such a gorgeously subtle way.  A November wedding can sometimes run the risk of being a little Christmassy, and Sarah and Matt's was SO not!  Also, note how great Matt's family's antique Milk Truck is!  These two were so fortunate to have such an amazing little piece of their heritage as a part of their day.  We loved photographing them with it and can only hope our shots did it justice.

More important than all of that though, was just the love Sarah and Matt share and how perfectly their wedding expressed it.  Sarah's dad gave such a lovely toast at the wedding.  He talked about how Sarah and Matt came from the same place in life.  They each had a strong foundation in their love for their families, for God, and for each other.  I thought this really summed up their relationship perfectly -- these are two of the sweetest, most generous people you'll ever meet and we really had a great time documenting their day.  I hope you enjoy this little peek at their wedding!

Dan & Kayla | Glasbern Inn Wedding

How is it August already, guys?!  I'm here to share one of my two June weddings with you today and I know you're going to love it.

Dan and Kayla are a really special couple.  Dan and my husband Dave used to play in a band together, and have remained friends ever since.  From the moment I met Kayla, I just really liked her.  She was fun, beautiful, laid back, and just had the best personality.  Needless to say, I was thrilled when she asked me to shoot their wedding at the Glasbern Inn in Fogelsville.  This place is such a hidden gem (we're talking minimal cell service!) in the hills of the Lehigh Valley.  I had never shot there before but the place was a dream, and fit the couple's vision for their rustic, softly-colored wedding so perfectly.  From the first look to the surprise sunset at the end of the day, this whole entire wedding - top to bottom - was the kind of wedding that leaves a photographer itching to go through her images!  Enjoy checking out their day!

Troy & Christine | William Penn Inn

I could apologize for a very long pause between bloggings, but I won't!  I'm not apologizing because I've been that satisfyingly good kind of busy and I just haven't had the time to comb through these images and share them until right now!  That said, I want to share Troy and Christine's wedding with you because it was gorgeous.

Everything about this day was just straight up fun.  Troy and Christine and their son Matthew really brought the party.  The colors of the girls' dresses and the flowers mixed with the bright greens of early spring just added to the joyful feel of this couple's day.  It was no surprise that their reception even featured Matthew doing a full on Michael Jackson dance routine.  I hope you enjoy peeking into their day as much as we enjoyed shooting it!
